
Dr B. O Oyebanji
I graduated from the University of Ibadan with a DVM in 2000. I have my M.Sc and Ph.D. in Veterinary Pharmacology from the same University in 2004 and 2011 respectively. I obtained an M. Tech degree from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Animal Physiology in 2006 and a postgraduate certificate in innovative Dairy chain management from Van Hall Lareinstein University in 2021. I teach courses in Animal Health in the Department of Animal sciences at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have attended various conferences both local and international and have publications in my area of research. I have supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate students. I am a member of various professional bodies including the Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Nigeria Society of Animal Production and Health (NSAPH), Nigerian Association of Zoological Gardens and Wildlife Parks (NAZAP), Organization of women in Science in Developing Countries (OWSD), American Fish Health Association.
I am a fellow of the following body: University administration support program (UASP-IREX), CV Raman, and TWAS-BioVisionext. I am the University Federation of Animal welfare (UFAW) link for my institution.
My research areas are medicinal plant in animal management, immunology, dairy management, and animal welfare.
