Dr Olugbenga Orisasona

Dr Olugbenga Orisasona obtained his MSc (Fisheries Management) and PhD (Fish Nutrition and Aquaculture) in 2006 and 2014 respectively from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He had earlier obtained a B. Agric. Tech (Fisheries and Wildlife) from the Federal University of Technology Akure, in 1995. Dr Orisasona has served as Fisheries Officer in various establishments with over ten years’ experience in commercial aquaculture. Dr Orisasona lectured in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Management, Osun State University from January 2016 to December, 2016.
Dr Orisasona joined the services of Obafemi Awolowo University as a Lecturer and Researcher in January, 2017, where he has been active in his academic and supportive duties. His research interests are in fish nutrition and recruitment of species for aquaculture, and some of his works have been published in reputable journals and conference proceedings. Dr Orisasona teaches Aquaculture, Fisheries Management, Fish Nutrition, Animal Biochemistry and other related courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
