Agric Tech, Animal Production and Health (Second Class Honours Upper Division) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria in 1994. I obtained my M.Sc. in Animal Biochemistry and Nutrition in the Department of Animal Science of the University of Ibadan in 1997 and 3yrs after (year 2000) I bagged my PhD degree in Swine Production and Nutrition also from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. I started work as a Teaching Assistant, Department of Animal Science, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, 1999 – 2000 and Associate Lecturer, General Studies Programme, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, 1999 -2000.
I started my academic career in the Department of Animal Sciences in 2000, when I joined the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, as a Lecturer I. I have since then practiced as a Lecturer, Researcher and Consultant in the core area of Animal Biochemistry and Nutrition, with specific emphasis on production and nutrition of non-ruminant animals. I was promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer in October 2004 and Associate Professor in October 2011 and Professor October 2014. My research engagements over the years have attracted grants from the University. I have supervised and mentored a number of students at undergraduate level.
